The two thermal water bathing lakes at the Alpentherme Gastein offer a natural swimming experience in pure Gastein thermal water. Thanks to the biological filtration system, the water is purified entirely without the addition of chemicals such as chlorine. Please note: The Smaragdsee is closed during the winter months.
Yes, the Ladies World is a specially designed retreat for women only. It features its own sauna area, an infrared cabin, relaxation zones, a roof terrace and much more. Access to this area is included in the standard admission price for the Alpentherme.
In the Family World at the Alpentherme Gastein, families will find the baby pool, the Lazy River current channel, a Black Hole rafting slide and a speed slide with a timer. Outdoors in summer, the 4-lane wave slide provides plenty of variety, complemented by a toddlers’ pool and a children’s playground. A particular highlight is the new Alpe-Adria-Dom, spread over three levels, featuring a swim-in seawater aquarium, a clothing-optional sauna and a relaxation room.
The Sauna World offers a spacious area with 12 different saunas. The special and show infusions in the Cascadia are particularly worth mentioning. You can also enjoy other amenities, such as the mountain lakes, the Kristallsee thermal water lake and a variety of relaxation areas. The panoramic relaxation room boasts a direct panoramic view of the Gastein mountains.
Yes, at the Alpentherme Gastein health center you’ll find a wide range of medical and therapeutic treatments, always with a focus on Gastein thermal water: The range of treatments includes, amongst other things, radon thermal baths, therapeutic massages, mud packs, therapeutic exercise, cold and cold stimulation therapy, and electrotherapy. Furthermore, the health centre offers sports medicine support, as well as psychological, dietetics and medical services.
